This is this weeks challenge at Loves to Scrap Challenge Blog

 the challenge is:

The theme for our challenge this time is Color My World!
We want to see your projects created with either pastels
OR primary colors, but not both!

For this challenge, we are considering pastels as soft subdued shades, and primary colors as bold bright colors!
No black or brown allowed (except inks used for
rubber stamp or digital images)!

So here is my work with the challenge... of course... more Yummy pics!!

This is a challenge layout from Let's Scrap... Mindi and my challenge

the challenge was to 'build' a layout. Every day for 6 days we gave you a piece to 

add to your layout:

Day 1 - digi/stamped image added to your sketch

Day 2 - fabric/felt

Day 3 - recycled item

Day 4 - metal

Day 5 - washi tape

Day 6 - twine/ribbon

It was fun using 2 different sketches to make a double page layout...

This month at Let's Scrap we are doing a month long of challenges!!

This is NSD13#1 Challenge... 

This was Tiffany's challenge:

'Each and every one of us has been touched by the words in a book at some point in our lives, be it a cute rhyme that brings back memories of childhood storytime or a motivating quote from a literary classic. Grab your favorite book and use it as inspiration for this challenge. Create a layout using a quote from your favorite book, it can be the title or somewhere on your layout. Let the book inspire the colors and details of your page.'

So My Adorable One has been re-watching the Harry Potter movies ALOT lately and I heard this in one of the movies and it stuck in my head...

'Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also..'

I have been scrapbooking alot of lil Preston's pics and it gets hard to come up with titles for all the newborn shots so I thought this quote was perfect!! I have some sparkly flowers and some magical bling on the page as well... and some Incredible Pics of the kids and lil Preston!!

Doing the Let's Scrap NSD Challenges you are required to use a sketch from Let's Scrap..

So here is the sketch I used... only one side and I 'tweaked' it a bit!! ;0)

So not bad!!! May 1st... 1 LS Challenge down and I'm already working on another layout... curious if this NSD month will get me busy!! ;0)
