Preston... 2 hours old

I am applying for a new DT position at Sketch-N-Scrap. They 

have some great sketches to play with.. if you haven't checked them

out you should!!

Here is my layout for the DT sketch.. of course it is Preston!! Isn't he 

just the 'yummiest' little guy. I can't believe he is a month old already!! Where

does the time go?! More pics of him at 2 hours old in the hospital...

Nationals...

Moe's...

So starting over for the LOAD this month... this is #1 & #2

This is my challenge at Let's Scraps "Scrap Your Stash" Group..

the challenge is to use what you have in scrapbooking supplies and use up some

of your stash... you know we all have it!! I'll admit.. some more than others! ;0) 

Here is the layout.. this is from our Gunslinger Nationals in Oregon this past summer.. 

we went on a ride to the coast and it was beautiful and we ate at Moe's.. oh Yum!!!

Usually I would have this side by side in a double layout form.. but

I have a new computer with updated software and I'm not sure how to use

it yet!! lol I'll have to get The Adorable One to help me figure it out.. ;0) 

Here is the challenge part of this layout:

2 patterned papers

4 different colors of cardstock

10 eyelets or brads

10 die cuts/stickers - 

either from your stash or you can cut them with your machines

and some inking on the layouts

The Wynn....

This is LOAD #27

This is a layout of the "Wynn" in Las Vegas for Chris's album. 

I love the way the colors look in this layout... 

this is done with a Nuts About Sketches sketch, I am having so much fun 

playing with so many great sketches!!

LOAD #25 & #26

One for Grandma and Grandpa's album and one for Preston's album.

These pics were taken when Preston was 2 1/2 hrs old... they tossed him about

and bundled him up and then off he went to see Mom for the first time. I thought

it was a note worthy event... ;0)

This is a layout using Let's Scrap this weeks sketch. 

Of course I'm going to use pics of my new Grandson Preston because

I'm so proud I could bust some buttons.. he is adorable!!

I took these pics of my son, Raym, with his newborn son as he was in 

the nursery... the journaling reads as follows:

'Nothing could have prepared me for these moments of seeing my son with his 

son for the first time. No words could ever describe the absolute and complete love..

my heart was just overflowing with love for both of them.. what an amazing feeling

and what an amazing father he will be for Preston... '

The MOB Experience...

This is this weeks sketch from Nuts About Sketches

This is a layout from Las Vegas from Tropicana's MOB Experience... 

we didn't go thru the experience we went to look at the fish tank. There is a

tv show called 'tanked' and they are based in Las Vegas and they put this 

together... so after seeing the show we had to go check it out in person. 

It was a great fish tank complete with one of guys cemented shoes and tv's

inside that actually worked.. loved it!!

I just had to do another layout of Preston... I actually did

2 of these layouts... 1 for our album and one for Mom and Dad's!

I got the inspiration from a Pintrest layout and I used

an older Let's Scrap sketch for it... or I should say

 I used one side of an other sketch.. ;0)

2 hours old....

Preston was 2 hours old when I took this picture of him. 

This is a quick layout that I just managed to get done and online for this

weeks sketch at Let's Scrap

Isn't he just yummy looking!! Love him!!

It was actually a card sketch that I used and I turned

it into a layout sketch... so versatile!! Love it!

Jello Shot in Las Vegas... !!
Journaling reads 'We start our trips in Las Vegas every year
at the Venetian and with jello shots!! This is our tradition and I love
it...  9am or 9pm.. does not matter this is our first stop!! We are
not lushy.. just fun lovin'!!'

Another Vegas layout... My Adorable One loves to browse the

cigar shops in Vegas. The smells are incredible and they have such

cool cigar goodies too!! He hardly ever buys anything... he travels with 

his own cigar humidor there!! ;0) But you never know what you might find!!

Another layout from Las Vegas.... I love Las Vegas!!

We go every year whether we need to or not and sometimes

we think about going more often!! We love it.. the activity, the

excitement, the food, the drinks... love it all!! These pics are from a

restaurant at The Wynn... it is called Parasol Down. I love looking at

these umbrellas... they go ohhhh so slowly up and down and turn. Beautiful!!

Here is this weeks sketch at Nuts About Sketches

These pics are from Las Vegas... there is a restaurant in Mandalay Bay and they have this incredible ice cream sampler. They make some pretty weird ice creams - octopus, rum and coke, melons, basil.. just some very different kinds. The fun of it is they give you a sheet and have you write the flavors on it.. if you guess them right then your ice cream sampler is free... otherwise it is $18. They start you off with a 'freebie' and tell you what one flavor is.... well thank goodness we got ONE right!! ;0) Fun!!
